This video-film bases on five portraits, each of them of an original length of 60 minutes. Sequences of these portraits were associatively mounted. Both the succession of images as well of sounds play a balanced role in this montage. The editing integrates visual and acustic disruptions between the filmic situations, using them to irritate and disconcert the viewers. The portrayed persons within present are not responsible of action, the focus of the study is the physical presence and its fascination. Digitally generated interferences act as interrupts for the “voyeurs” and display their status. Because of a chronological arrangement of scenes– concerning the individual protagonists – an explicitly perceivable continuum of time develops. Intuition within the editing merges five persons into a tale without stories. Moods, affinities, opposites, side noises and elapsed time are the narrators.
