Performance: Ulrike Felder -------------------------------------->

The large monitors display a completely motionless woman sitting on a chair in two different poses. They are stationed in exactly the same place, where the performing woman had been sitting during the intakes. On the floor, sort of at her feet, is situated each with a small screen, one of them presenting the static view from one of the room’s windows onto the street. On the second screen a subjective camera is tracking the way away from the venue. A further small monitor, placed in the entrée between the two areas shows the fixed view out of the front window of a car, which is circuiting the building within the shortest possible circle. Coming from a living icon, a sort of sphinx, who challenges the perception of the viewers, different possibilities of a filmic approach to the space are made accessible, revolving and doubling, leaving it. Variable schemes of movement contrast the question, if time is passing on screen or the image has been frozen..
