The videos were presented in 20 stations, each of them dedicated to one person. Narrating Mauthausen was the result of an international teamwork between the collaborators of the Mauthausen Survivors Documentation Project and exhibition,- and video-designers. The selection of samples intends to focus a representative profile of the ranks of inmates in Mauthausen. The interviews were shortened to a maximum length of 40 minutes and – if required – subtitled in German and English language.(Editing: Bernadette Dewald, Helga Hofbauer, Jan Machacek) The edit is concentrated on the narration, from additional documentary material was abstained.
